I am a Seed

This is another spring time song I wrote while teaching the children at Dryden Street.  I was helping plant over 400 flowers in front yard of the school.  I wanted to teach the germination of a flower through this song.

There is a movement that goes along to the song.  I hope to make a video soon of it.

Piano/Glockenspiel/Vocal- Annie Allauzen

Cello:  Elizabeth Glushko Cerasoli

First I am a seed the garden you see.

I grow a little more into a sprout

And with the rain and sun I finally become

A nice tall stem so tall and thin

I had some lovely petals that are blowing in the wind

A flower blooming from my flower head.

If you water me again I finally became

A flower dancing in the flower bed.
